Hello Folks, 

congratulations to all for applying. I just wanted to start the forum for people applying for fall 2022.

I checked my email today and it said I got signed up for UFV Microsoft word and then when I checked the application it said acceptance ? Did anyone actually get email that they got accepted ?

You will get an email which says the following 

 

Congratulations on your offer to the UFV Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (BSN) 4 year option for the Winter 2022 intake.

 

Please see the attached BSN Program (Winter 2022) – Acceptance Package Part 1. Included in part 1 of the acceptance package is information on course registration, immunizations, Criminal record check and other important information and dates.

Initially mine said conditional admit but now it says offer of admission. Is that what yours says?

Thanks for starting it! Im gonna wait until I get the email just to make sure, I’ll join right after that.

Also my ‘MyUFV’ now has an offer of admission on it. Has anyone reached out to health sciences to confirm what this means? Im nervous if I wait too long to accept the offer then I won’t get the seat. Probably just overthinking it though haha

I know it seems odd to get this on your application status and not an email to confirm yet but I had this experience last time (although it did not say admit) so this means you are being offered a seat in the program. Once you accept the offer the next steps will be sent to you via email. (I’m sure on Monday because it’s now the weekend)

Congrats to those that got the acceptance!!

 

Did anyone else get waitlisted? :( 

Does anyone know what the odds are of getting a seat? Or roughly how many people were able to get in off the waitlist for the last intake?

Fingers crossed something will change but its so discouraging not being able to mentally prepare myself by knowing more info LOL

My heart is beating out of my chest right now, so I should accept it on MyUFV?

I don’t know much about the waitlist, but I can assume that lots of people applied at multiple different schools, so someone may have been offered a spot at another school and taken that spot. They did say in the information session that quite a few people do reject their offers of admission so stay hopeful!!

So I did go and accept my offer, I also sent in a copy of my Standard First Aid/CPR certificate. I'm assuming they'll send us the Criminal Record Check form around the 10th when they officially email us.

My status still says "ready for review" on MyUFV... am I the only one who hasn't gotten their results yet or did this happen to anybody last time?
