UF Traditional BSN Fall 2017

Published

Hi everyone!

I sent in my application to UF about two weeks ago for the Traditional BSN program Fall 2017. I am so nervous based on what I have read. My overall GPA is a 3.94 and I'm finishing up 5 prerequisites being Chem and Micro each with a lab and Statistics. I feel pretty confident that I will get all A's in these classes by the end of the semester. I've gotten only one B my whole AA and it was in Human Growth and Development due to a poor instructor. I've gotten Part-Time dean's list, President's Honors List, and I am part of Phi Thetta Kappa Honor Society. I was wondering what my chances are of getting in since I've heard transfers have a harder time getting a seat in this highly competitive program? For people who are applying or have gotten accepted in the past as a transfer, what was your GPA? I've applied to FSU and will be sending in more applications to FIU, UM, Nova, PBA, and possibly UCF. I would love to go to UF! It would be a dream come true!

Thank You !!

Hey! I also applied to the traditional bsn program for fall 2017. I am a transfer from broward college and currently hold a 3.89 gpa. I'm finishing up my micro and anatomy 2 this term. i've read how ridiculously competitive it is for transfers to be admitted and it is so discouraging to me as this is my dream school!! any current students in the traditional bsn program that were transfers??

Hey MP1997! I totally understand how you feel !!! I just visited UF last weekend and it just confirmed how bad I want to continue my education there! Have you applied to any other programs within UF or any other colleges? Also, did you include any experiences/volunteer hours?

Hi ladies! I have also applied to UF as a transfer student. I have heard it is a very difficult program to get into and I want to wish you ladies the best of luck!!
