UF 2013 BSN applicants?

Anyone else applying there for the fall?

I didn't get in either I only have one more school that I'm hoping to get into. So good luck and congratulations to everyone!

Still nothing. I didn't get a letter. I know I applied.... and emailed to update my address. Maybe tomorrow?

And yes, I did get into the UCF program and I've already gotten very involved with sna & both the incoming juniors and current seniors. I know in my heart it's where I am meant to become a nurse. Everyone has been so wonderful and with my circumstances it best fits my needs. If I was single with no kids I might have a huge dilemma on my hands. I dreamed for years of being a gator lol

Unfortunately I didn't get in. I'm a transfer student from a state college honors program with a 3.95 cumulative and 4.0 prereq gpa. I also did have healthcare experience this semester. Congrats to everyone who got in and good luck to everyone who is also waiting to hear back from other schools!

This program is so unfair to transfer students. How do you get any more competitive than that. Summeroliver you have higher stats than most of the people who got in. Like i dont understand what else there is to do to get in anywhere.

the UF program gives an upperhand to current UF students that apply, they really aren't looking for transfer students and thats why they dont leave many slots open for them

I honestly think an interview should replace the essays.... A lot of schools use them as part of the admissions (UCF, UNF, Nova...)

Yes, the UF BSN program really isn't geared toward transfers. Most of their spots are reserved for the students who were accepted to UF their Freshman year & declared Nursing as their major.

well congrats anyways to the people who did get in. Yes but that shouldnt be allowed it should be fair to everyone who has put all their hard work in just like everyone else. Its just discouraging that all of these schools do it like this and the transfers get the bottom of the barrel and nothing to show for it.

Does anyone know if UF will have a waitlist if you do not get accepted initially? or is it just an acceptance or denial?
