2015 UF BSN Admissions

Hey guys! So I just joined allnurses, but I have been watching the forums for the UF BSN Admissions for a while. I realized there is not an active one yet for 2015 and I would like to get it started! I know we all are anxious still from letting go of our applications April 5 and now we are waiting until June to hear the results! I am currently a UF student and I am really hoping to get into this fantastic program. I hope to attract students that were previously accepted to hear what they have to say about the admissions process and the program itself! Essentially, I wanted a place where I could discuss my nervousness with people that understand! (Plus, I know everyone is curious as to what caliber of students we are facing this year as well!!)

Who else out there applied for Fall 2015?

Oh my, why are they taking so long? There's only going to be like 125 students...

I called and he said he's still sending out emails... I asked if they would be done today and he said he didn't know :(

I got in also, received the email this afternoon. I havent decided if I will accept it or not since I also got into GWU. Congrats to everyone! If anyone was curious I am also a transfer student.

Thanks UFGal, I called and I really just got an apology. It just happens sometimes I guess. Luckily I have a backup plan, but I'm definitely devastated. I wish you guys the best!

I just want to say congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I graduated from UF's college of nursing on May 1st of this year. It's a great program. I along with most of my class had jobs before graduating and we have all passed the NCLEX first try. Please don't be too upset if you are a transfer student and didn't get in. For the class of 2015, there were only 4-5 transfer students. Everyone else was a current UF student.

I believe there were 130 students in my class.
