UCSF FNP Anyone heard??

I was wondering if anyone else who applied to UCSF's FNP program for fall 2010 has heard back yet? I've just received my acceptance to NYU and Hopkins, but UCSF is my top choice, so i'm anxiously waiting. Also, anyone currently in/graduated from NYU, Hopkins, or UCSF and have any comments about the school?

I'm still waiting as well. I find it interesting that most of the discussion on this site is geared towards MEPN students. I did hear somewhere that MSN applicants should hear at the end of March/early April.

Do you have any idea how many applicants there are and for how many spots? Are interviews ever offered for MSN FNP applicants?

I applied to FNP as well. However, I have not heard. I am sure we will hear any day now. I just checked their website and they have updated the specialties that are closed and FNP is not one of them.

Hi everyone!

I have a BSN (so I am not a MENP applicant). I applied to the Critical Care/Trauma CNS and received an e-mail on Friday morning. The email said to check ont he website as a decision had been made but for security reasons I had to log in to view it.

And I was admitted!!!!! The instructions said to respond by April 14th (there was a link).

Well, we should hear any day. I just checked their website and it says that the FNP specialty is now FIlled. Good luck!!!

Well, I got an email and I'm on the wait list. And they said they will let me know anytime between now and as late as september. I hope I get in. Does anyone know the chance of being admitted if on the wait list?

I am on the waitlist too. I am not sure but I hear they couldn't let that many students in this year due to funding. We will see. Good luck. I will keep you posted.
