I am going to be commuting from the peninsula to ucsf. What is the deal with parking?
I checked out the website and the lots all have waitlists.
Also it looks like the caltrain to N Judah is an option but the muni sounds unreliable. Anybpdy do that?
thanks
Anybody?

I don't work at UCSF but grew up in the area. If it were me, I would park in the outer sunset and take the N Judah in. You can drive around and see how close you can park to the hospital where there is no hourly parking. Maybe venture out to other areas around the hospital where you can bus in. I'm not familiar with areas past the hospital and parking. Good luck

You can find all day street parking but you have to get there early and pay attention to the signs. Your best bet would be to park in the outer sunset and maybe even take an uber from there.
Also there is an app called spothero which gives you a discount to park in the garage next to starbucks and medical plaza. I believe the app allows you to the cut the rate in half which makes a huge difference.
