me only 1/11 LOL

Did you received an email about it or did you had to check your application profile for the update?

I applied to all the job openings (LOL). So far 2 have said "others more competitive" and the rest say "application received"

Any updates?

Nope, mine still all say "application received"

my applications say "open" does anyone know what that means?

I think you mean "job status" mine says open as well but "my status" is different it will either update to "referred to Hiring Department" or "others more competitive"

@Esther Ogunmeru

One of my applications says "others more competitive" and the other one says "Application received"

Status as of this morning:
2 Apps "Referred to Hiring Department"
Others either state "Others More Competitive" or "Application Received"

I just got this today

Congrats!

I think they are emailing everyone today if they were referred. I almost didn't apply this time around because I started an OR training program and I'll be very close to the 6 months max of experience by March.
I applied before I graduated last year and got this exact same email for 6 units before they decided to cancel. This time only one unit has emailed. I knew it was going to be extremely competitive, but I am honestly surprised. I used to work at UCSD, I have every certification I could get (ACLS, PALS, BLS, Nihss), I'm an active member of the professional organization of the specialty I was interested in, I work with ANA California, I volunteer with so many non-profits, I'm completing my MSN, and I thought I was a strong candidate. Somehow I barely made the cut for one single unit.
TBH it's all about who you know, for more than these hospitals want to make it seem like their job postings are open to everyone, word of mouth and direct referrals are our best bets. Don't beat yourself if you don't get referred, go get your experience in any hospital and after 6 months start applying again. Good luck to everyone!
