Oh ok so it is possible that one location had interviews this past week and the other one not yet?

hi RNintraining, It is possible Hillcrest is still interviewing but not sure exactly. my IMU Hillcrest application updated to “others more competitive” back in December. I recently accepted an offer at the Thornton IMU.

Oh congratulations! That is so exciting. That would make sense. I don't think that my app would have been routed on the 3rd if they weren't still interviewing right? So hard to wait! lol

Thank you so much! Don’t give up! I graduated June 2019 and got my license Aug2019. Took me months to get interviews in the units I really wanted. Worth the wait!

That is relieving to hear. I graduated and got my license in November and the highs and lows of getting rejections, interviews, or rejections after interviews is so exhausting and discouraging..just really don't want to end up in a SNF

yeah I totally hear ya, I worked in a Snf as an Lvn for 8 years, it’s great experience but the hospitals definitely have more to offer. Try to have peers look at your resume/cover letter and portfolio and see what can be improved for future applications. good luck on your search!

I applied to almost all of them. My status says others more competitive for tele/PCU as of the Dec 30.

My apps for cardiac PCU were referred to hiring department as of Dec 20th and Med/Surg referred to hiring department as of 12/17. I haven't gotten any emails about them or calls to interview.

Has anyone else interviewed or accepted a job for these units?? Thanks

Anyone hear back from UCSD regarding the SICU/TICU position posted in late December?

Specializes in Transplant PCU.

I had an interview on Surg/Onc PCU. Didn't get the position. Good luck everyone. ♥️

Hi! Did they email you about the results? Or did you just have to check on the application online?

I was told they will email you for rejections and call for offers (for IMU and Tele).

I was wondering if anyone has heard about L&D I got referred to hiring department almost a month ago and haven’t heard anything. Thanks!
