UConn Accelerated CEIN Nursing Program 2024

U.S.A. Connecticut

Published

Hi guys! I'm looking to apply to the UConn CEIN Nursing Program for the year of 2024! I noticed there were topics for previous years - but not this one yet! Feel free to leave any comments, concerns, feedback, etc. so that we can all help each other out! Good luck to everyone applying!

Hi!  Quiet thread so far.

My application is submitted and verified and I'm waiting to hear back.  I have no clue when they will be reviewing so the waiting is rough!  I'm hoping to get into either Storrs or Waterbury.

Good luck to all applying to this program for 2024!

I heard it takes about 4-6 weeks once your application is verified! Usually the admissions counsel holds a committee every week to decide.. but I have no idea when they are. Maybe we can email Shea?

Ayyyyyy.  4-6 weeks is torture LOL.  When did you submit yours? Have you heard anything?

Yes! It takes about a week after submitting for verification. You should also get an email.

And because I'm a huge nerd, I started a facebook group for the 2024 cohort.

That's so kind!! Thank you so much - I've been searching so many questions answered the past few weeks!! You're an angel!!

- How was pharmo and pathology together? (since I know it's combined for the first semester)

- Are you or any of your classmates able to work while participating in the program?

- How are the online classes? Do you like them?

- Are the clinical placements close to your location?

- Do you have any advice/tips for keeping up with an intense program/studying?

- How are the staff? Are they helpful in any way?

- Was it easy for you to get adjusted to your schedule?

Sorry for all the questions! Take your time answering!
