Hey guys, I have an interview tomorrow at UCLA for the super user position. Since they can't guarantee there will be a RN New Grad program this time..but does anyone know what exactly are they looking for? I mean im sure most of us have good computer skills..I don't know how to prepare for this interview!!
You interview one on one with a recruiter.. focus on anything you have ever done that has to do with teaching/mentoring others.. training. It's very straightforward but they want to know how well you could learn the information and teach it! good luck!Hi all, I'm interviewing on Tuesday the 13th. Wondering what the format of the interview was... single interviewer or multiple? Were you the only interviewee or were there multiple? I'm trying to figure out how to best prepare for this one. Without giving away specifics, did they ask questions/focus on nursing, teaching, Epic, computer systems or all of the above? For those of you that have started, how do you like it? Thanks!D
They are hiring 400+ super users - new grad RNs, current nursing students, and people with previous IT experience. If you're still considering applying - do it! It's a great experience and resume builder. All of us who have been hired don't start until after Thanksgiving. But there is paperwork, health screening, and orientation to get through so I'm sure UCLA is trying to get everyone on board before Super User training starts in two weeks.
It seems many people got hired and they are definitely looking to hire more. I interviewed today and they told me right after. I am happy, but now I have to look for housing around UCLA because I am a San Diego resident.
Anyone else traveling from SD?? It was a loooong drive for me to take alone.
