I'm posting this as the UCLA Health applications open up today for Summer 2023. Want to have a chance to connect!
I applied for the ICU position. I have a little under 6 months of paid ICU experience as an RN at a very small community hospital. Left my job, so applying for the new grad at UCLA, do you guys think that will hurt me? I hope they don't see it as a bad thing. Any insight from anyone? Is everyone applying non UCLA graduates and without connections? Because I am, but sometimes it seems that most people get in because they went to school there or know someone. *sigh*
@HelloFriends hi! I have well under 6 months of NICU experience and applied for the NICU. If anything the experience makes you a better candidate and you're able to speak more on your passion and experiences in the unit. Good luck! I'm rooting for you!

I think as long as its under when you applied that you'll be okay (but I am not 100%). I am applying as a NON UCLA student ? fingers crossed for us.
