Hi y’all! Just wanted to start a thread for the UCLA MSN Fall 2020 Cohort! Days are feeling longer and longer since submitting the apps. What program did you guys apply for? I applied for the FNP program!

Said that it had to be provided by the school of nursing. Has anyone received this number yet?
Does that mean you were able to see your official letter in your app status?
I was able to create a UCLA Login with my UID # that ----------- gave me and I was able to register for the Physiology class until the very last second until it said error. I guess I need to wait for my letter since technically it isn't official yet. I'm getting too excited haha.

Yes I was able to see the official letter via the app status. I received my email midday yesterday, and looked for the letter earlier this afternoon via the app status login. From there I got the UID#, I am just missing a tp(something number, can't remember the specific name) that pops up as a requirement to get into the physical assessment class.
I'm super excited as well ?

Just wondering but when you go through the app status, did you have to retrieve your password?
I am unable to log on with the same email and password I used to create my application. So I've been just doing that. Maybe I am doing things wrong? Hehe. I got my email midday yesterday too!

Yes I did have to retrieve! Sorry totally forgot to mention that part. I always forget my passwords so I thought this was on me, but it was a totally made up mix of letters and numbers which is not common for me to do
Hello All!
I have been accepted to the FNP program on the 17th and am also waiting for the official acceptance letter! I also plan to take Human Physiology and Physical Assessment in the Summer but wonder if COVID-19 will effect our Physical Assessment class and lab since it is on-campus. As of right now the UCLA campus is still open and are limiting classes of over 100. The APRN class ahead of us have also transitioned their classes to online until Spring.
Hey everyone. I applied to the Adult Gero Acute Care program and was notified on 3/17 that I’m #1 on the waitlist. Mark said people on the waitlist will be notified of admission on a rolling basis. I know people admitted have until Apr 3 to accept or decline, but I still haven’t heard anything. Is anyone else on the waitlist? Thanks!

Anyone here taking both physiology & physical assessment plan on taking N204 (research) during the Summer session as well? I know someone in the program now and he recommended doing that to lighten up the fall quarter.
I emailed MC about maybe taking the Physio class via UCLA Extension just to get it over with, because I also plan on taking the Research class with Physical Assessment over the Summer.

My friend is also on the waitlist! She didn't disclose the number but she's in the <10 on the list. Don't lose hope, you're at a good spot!

So what’s the difference between taking it via UCLA extension and taking it online when it’s offered during the Summer? Would you be able to take it sooner?

It looks like there’s a class being offered online through UCLA extension that starts on March 30th and goes through June 7 based on what I just looked up. I took that same class last Summer. It’s weekly quizzes and a couple group “papers”. I don’t think there were any cumulative tests, from what I remember. And it’s also online.

Thanks for the insight!! I think I'm going to take it considering I have to take two more over the Summer....
