UCF/Seminole State Concurrent Program Spring 2019

Published

Don't see a thread started yet for the UCF/Seminole State Concurrent Program for Spring 2019. Just wondering who plans to apply this month and trying to get an idea of statistics. I have a 3.9 overall GPA, 3.9 for prereqs, got an 82% on the TEAS. I'm not sure if I should re-take the TEAS to try to score higher or if that even really matters. I also still have to take Diet Therapy in the fall which I'm afraid is going to make me non-competitive and if that's the case, I'm not sure what Plan B is. I'm applying to a few other schools too, so we'll see. Good luck everyone!

Same here you guys. Everything is green except for the pre-reqs portion.

I'm hoping your statuses change by the end of this week! Hang in there everyone. I know it's nervewracking!

Hey all my status just turned all green as well!! Finally feeling like its half real! Getting exciteddddd Also my last name starts with J. Good luck!

Mine still hasn't turned! Crossing fingers it's because I'm at the end of the alphabet. I'll post when/if it changes. Thanks for the update.

I'M FINALLY ALL GREEN! I was sweating a little bit. My calculations show we should know by Friday October 12th. Is that what you guys come up with too?

Yes definitely October 12 is exactly 6 weeks. I talked to my advisor about it and she was like yeah no they are dead on it with the 6 weeks thing. Three more weeks to gooo!

Has anyone talked to financial aide yet? I'm so confused about it. I've read it goes through SSC not UCF, but I'm getting award notices from UCF too. I really have to go in and talk to them next week and get it all worked out. If anyone has any tips, please let me know. Also if you have worked with someone in financial aide who was really helpful, please share that too. Thanks!

Yeah you have to get financial aid only from SSC when you get accepted and then pay for the UCF classes with refund money or another way. Theres a link about in on their website and who to talk to. Go to UCF's nursing website. Then click the students tab, then click/select undergraduate. On the left side click financial aid. Scroll down the page and click SSC/UCF Concurrent Financial Aid Information. I read that. But if you have more questions then yes of course go speak with someone.

Hey all!!! Just checked and my status which was previously green and under review is now changed to "Eligible" XD XD two more weeks to goooooo

My status is currently "eligible " as well. I'm not sure if I'll get into the the program due to one prerequisite in progess. I'll hope and pray for the best. Good luck to you all !

Good luck everyone ! I'm in the program now, SSC/UCF. I remember waiting those 6 long gruesome weeks but I'm in my third semester so feel free to ask me questions.
