UCF Concurrent SSC/VCC Fall 2013

Hey guys! I have been searching to see if anybody has started a thread for those who have/are applying to UCFs Concurrent Programs! The ones I am interested in are Seminole State's and Valencia's Concurrent Programs. Has anybody else applied to UCFs Concurrent Programs for the Fall of 2013?!

I agree, a group on Facebook would be better suited! :)

Just wanted to say Congrats you guys!! You did it! I heard great things about the concurrent program. Good luck to you all! I'm beginning to get super nervous haha but ready to start :)

Good luck to you too! Keep in touch :) I remember you telling me our stories were similar before but until I read your story I had no idea how similar. I took the teas twice first time my grade was a 73. I called my mom and felt the disappointed in myself, same as you. Two of my friends got accepted before me, I was happy for them but just like you, very disappointed in myself. Retook teas got a 79 jumped for joy, knowing for sure they Would pick me this time, but nope I was put on the waiting list. And now we both got in around the same time, its so cool! I am so happy and anxious I don't know what to do with myself haha. It is so Nice to meet somebody who I can relate to. Thanks for sharing your story and giving me a tear this morning. I think I needed to cry lol

Because I created the group it won't let me add you unless you are my friend on FB so I sent friend request to everyone who liked the page. My name on FB is Carisa Abbott Kenworthy. Is anyone else having trouble getting a response from UCF Nursing Department via email address [email protected]? I have emailed them my signed letter for VCC concurrent on Sunday and no response yet. This was the email that was on my congratulations email. I noticed that the email came from [email protected] and was wondering if maybe I have the wrong email address.

Aww wow we do have very similar stories!! I definitely felt like a failure. I still can't believe I was accepted this time. Good for us!!!

I am facing the same issue. I emailed my letter as well on Sunday and since I didn't get a response, I faxed over the form as well. I got an email from UCF asking for patience since it takes a while to get a response. I wish I could at least get a confirmation that they have my acceptance letter. I will email them again tonight.
