Hi everyone,

i'm creating this thread to help others applying for the UCF dual enrollment program. I will be applying for the spring of 2018 I am currently taking diet therapy for the fall. Diet therapy is the last credit I needed to be eligible. My GPA is 3.85 and my teas score is 84. I am thinking about taking the test one more time to see if I can raise my score before the deadline application. I hope to get in Avolencia I hope to get in at Valencia instead of Seminole State but I will be applying to both to increase my chances instead of seminal State but I will be applying to both to increase my chances. Join this thread if you will be applying to either or programs or even traditional and let's get a conversation going that will help ease the process of applying.

Hello everyone!

I received my acceptance email last night for the UCF/VCC program! I am so excited for this journey!! Good luck guys!!

Congrats!! Good Luck to you!

Congratulations !

What were your stats ?

My stats were;

4.0 in nursing prerequisites

3.89 overall GPA

80 TEAS

Has anyone else heard yet??

I got into SSC/UCF :)

Since you guys are in the program now, I was wondering if anyone you know applied to the program with an outstanding prereq and got in? I am thinking of applying with Biology outstanding, but not sure if it would hurt me significantly.

Hey , I'm not sure what you chose to do at this point but if you apply and you plan to complete the course before the first day of classes, you can be accepted. I had a whole semester of Gordon Rule classes incomplete when i was accepted but i had time to finish the semester. But none of my classes were sciences or pre-reqs so you'll have to ask about that since they do recalculate a science GPA

Hi!

Thanks for that piece of information, really helpful.

I see you got into SSC, do you like it so far?

I'm actually loving it ! It's a lot but it feels great to finally be doing stuff I'm passionate about. at first it's overwhelming between classes on campus, UCF, and clinicals but now that I'm in a routine i feel good. Ive been working really hard & getting really good grades this far .

Awesome good luck! I can't wait, still not sure VCC or SSC though I'm leaning towards SSC because it's a shorter program. One more question lol, do you think students who already attend UCF have a better chance than transfer students at entering the program?

Thanks . As far as I know, I'm not sure it makes a difference. It just helps that you've probably already completed the Gordon rule prerequisites.
