Published

Starting a thread for the applicants to the University of Central Florida Daytona and Cocoa Campus, with the starting semester of Spring 2014. Anyone else out there?

YAY!!! GOT IN! I can't wait to meet all of you! :D

I got in too at the Cocoa campus! Yay! As for my grades, I got an 80.5 on my TEAS, I had an overall GPA of 3.83, and my prereq GPA was a 3.75. I'm am so relieved to have finally gotten that email! Congrats everyone!

i have a question...nw that we know that we have gotten in, does it mean we can sign up for the orientation?.....or do we have to wait until we finish the MOA thingy?

@perkl3 the orientation counts as our meet and greet that we will have to attend in December.

Congratulations everyone! I have also been accepted into the Cocoa campus. My TEAS was 82.7 with 3.76 overall and 4.0 prereq

Congrats everyone!!! I was accepted to the Daytona Campus! Can't wait to meet all of my fellow nursing students!!

4.0 GPA

Thanks for asking

My stats were 3.93 Overall GPA, 4.0 Prereq GPA, and 82 TEAS (should have studied more). I also felt that I did really well in my interview. They weigh all 4 of these and then decide. I would highly recommend all A's in your prereqs and shoot for a Teas score in the mid 80's or higher, but as previous students have said, every class is different in regards to standards, and the applicants set the bar. Good luck! Now I need to dust off my A&P book!

By the way was anyone in the 11am interview Group A?

If you received the email that said you were not accepted, I would highly recommend emailing the UCF nursing department. I received a denial letter, so I emailed UCF nursing to see what other options there were. I was called a short time after and was notified that I was actually accepted into Cocoa, but there had been a mistake with the system. Not sure if I'm the only one that happened to, but if you didn't get accepted, I would email them.

Congratulations everyone!
