I think they are doing it in waves because I had my interview and I have friends who haven't heard back either.

Which unit did you have an interview for? Still currently waiting for OR

A few of my classmates did get OR interviews. The ones still waiting are ICU, NICU, ED, medsurg

I work at UCD and have also applied. They are currently going through a hiring freeze which is probably why no one has heard back. Should be over soon. Good luck to all who are still waiting

is there a reason why they did a hiring freeze?

It seems they do it often for the whole hospital including the school of nursing and school of medicine. It's nothing to do with the residency program itself. I'm assuming it's an overall internal review of the hiring process to implement any new changes.
