Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone has any insight on the Nursing program at UBCO? What is the admission average? Also, has anyone who applied to the Fall 2017 entrance received an admission offer yet??

I have a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Univ outside of Canada. I asked Nursing deptartment in UBC, but the answer was not clear. Like me, the Bachelor's degree is not related to Nursing, can i still at least apply?? Currently, I live in MB working as Medical Admin Assistant since I completed MAA course in MB. UBC has two-year fast track which is very attractive to me, but I am not sure if I am eligible to apply. My GPA was 3.98.

What do you think??

Well the only requirements, at least when I was admitted, were 48 transferable credits (non-nursing related). As well, 6 anatomy and physiology credits and 3 english credits. Sounds like you have the english one down! If I were you I would check with UBC to make sure your courses are transferable (48 credits of them) and I would then suggest you take the required anatomy and physiology requirements as well. But yes you can apply assuming all of those things are done! Many people have completely unrelated degrees. GPA, the supplemental, and the CASper dictate your chance at admission. Thanks foryour reply again. Yes, I will askUBC about transferable credits. And I have another question, speaking of A & P. Did yoi take this course from ant college near you? And can itske that online- base like online university?? I am a mom working full time, so it's hard to juggle study and work :( Thanks for your kindness anyway!

I took it through the university of calgary!!
