UAMS 2016

I applied to UAMS Little Rock and just had my interview last week. Can anyone from previous years tell me what this means? Does everyone get an interview? Does this mean they have already looked at my grades? If so, does the interview make or break it?

I felt really good about my interview, but my grades aren't the absolute best. I've never failed a class, but I have made C's in a majority of the pre-reqs (sciences). I passed the TEAS test with a 65 (which is the minimum score). My GPA is higher than 2.5.

    Hello unfortunately I can not answer your question because I too am going through this acceptance process. I had my interview last week as well. I have heard from other individuals who are in UAMS BSN program that in order to receive an interview that UAMS has already looked at your grades. I also was informed from others that acceptance letters may start to come out at the end of February. Please keep me posted and I will inform you on any new information as well.

    My GPA is 3.92. But I am currently finishing a couple of courses so I'm looking to have a 3.96 hopefully. My TEAS Test was also a 65%, which I was not too happy with. I have heard that more consideration in placed in the GPA and Interview then the TEAS.

    Search "nursing interview questions" on Google. It helps you get an idea of what they ask you. It's super laid back and it took about 10 minutes. Be prepared to answer questions about why you want to become a nurse. Good luck future.arnurse :-)

    Congratulations!!!! Did you get an early acceptance cause the deadline was not until April 1.

    Thank you!! I have no idea whether I got early acceptance, it doesn't say that on the letter but it definitely came sooner than I thought!

    What was your GPA and TEAS score? It may have placed you as a more competitive applicant.
