UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

I hadn’t heard anything. I called today to receive a status on application but only received a voicemail.

I emailed and they said I should be recieving status email the next 2 weeks and to keep checking email. This is driving me crazy!!!!

I don't understand how some know they got in and others don't.

I may be wrong but from what I understand, those who have received an acceptance email was part of the first round. We have until 27 March to accept or decline the offer. After they see how many people accept, they should be sending out more acceptance emails to finish filling the class

That’s correct, they have to wait to see how many will decline or accept before anymore emails can be sent

I declined my position in the accelerated program. I've decided to go to UAMS.

So, there's one spot open. Good luck to everyone. :)

I called today and was informed that we should all hopefully know something by Friday.

I accepted my offer for accelerated track. Good luck to you all! Hope to see you guys in the summer!
