UALR 2019 NURSING APPLICANTS

Published

Hey y’all ! I wanted to start a forum for the 2019 applicants for UALRS nursing program! I have a 3.2 in my nursing prerequisites and a 2.8 gpa with the university! I have all prerequisites done except for Chem ( I am currently taking micro now, spring 2019) And I am hoping to get accepted into the accelerated program. I thought this forum would be useful for us to keep up with what’s going on as far as letters going out , and program requirements!

can you fail one section and still pass the teas?

You can but its gonna depend on what you get in the others I missed the 50's by one point you dont exactly fail the teas just dont get the score you need for it.

I was going to ask the same thing. I am not very strong in Math. So was wondering if I fail or don’t do my best in that area but ok in the rest will I pass?

If I get between a 50-59 I will still try for the LPN.

What all have you guys been using to study? I am doing the app and the teas study booklet. It cost me 40.00 but it sure has made me more confident. Got it at Barnes and noble

I’ve been using the union test prep.com and just downloaded a app and intend on studying all night because I take t tomorrow as well. I’m not as strong in science because I haven’t taken those classes yet.

I take it tomorrow as well. I have been studying so hard. That’s what is scary the science part not knowing what questions they’re going to be asking!!

Do they provide calculators? I know I need a id and 2 pencils. Is there anything else?

I went on the prep website and I don’t see how to find the TEAS?

What is everyone studying? Please let me know.

I suck at math and super worried about it all.

I’ve been using the TEAS app. But that’s it.

Also. All you bring is your ID. Nothing else. They provide calculators on the computer, paper and pencils.

And my friend bombed the science section but did great in the other courses and still passed.

I have also watched this video. It was on uaccms website. Mometrix.

I’ll watch the video this evening. What was that in the book examples of how the questions are set up?
