UAB MSN Summer 2016 Hopefuls!

Hi everyone! I am a student in UAB's RN-BSN program and in my final semester. I applied to the FNP program for Summer 2016 entry. I'd love to meet with other MSN Hopefuls for entry in this semester! Good luck and hope to find some folks to endure this stressful wait until decisions are made!

UAB NP 2018 is the name.

I'm not sure anyone has yet. I think most of us are basing our acceptance on the fact we can log on to UAB's student portal. I live in Atlanta and my mail arrives early and I didn't get anything today. I'm hoping they arrive this week seeing how next week is a holiday and I'm traveling out of town.

You have to register a BlazerNet ID first. So if you go to the UAB BlazerNet login page underneath is a tab in small green letters "BlazerNet Central". Click that and then go to register BlazerNet ID and follow the directions. Everyone who applied is able to create an ID but only those admitted to the program can log in. It may take up to 48hrs for your ID to become active so don't be discouraged if it doesn't work right away. Good Luck!

Patiently awaiting for the final letter! Has anyone tried to set up the blazernet account without prior affiliation with UAB? When I started to log in it asked if I was a current student or accepted an admission. Hopefully not too much longer until we hear something!

I didn't have any prior affiliation to UAB. I just clicked the current or accepted student option and registered for an ID. Five or so days later I was able to log in.

No letter for me either. I was really hoping it was gonna be today and make for a great anniversary present. Maybe tomorrow.
