UAB Fall 2016

Hey everyone. I have applied to the Acute/Primary Peds NP program at UAB for fall 2016. I am currently driving myself crazy as I wait for my acceptance letter!! I figured I would write this post to see if anyone else wanted to be crazy with me while we wait!

Oh wait you said the middle of April, not the middle of March!! Crap!! So probably little to no chance of it being in March. Lol, oh well at least now I know I'm not the only one waiting on pins and needles.

But I don't think the application was through nursing CAS last fall, so maybe sooner, if nursing CAS speeds up the process at all. I'm so hopeful! Lol

So, I'm just sitting here checking blazernet again for what feels like the thousandth time, and I figured I'd check in to see if anyone else is as stressed out as I am. The wait is killing me.

Right there with you. Personally I think they shouldn't be able to go on spring break in the middle of the decision process! Lol j/k. Still, it's making the wait even worse!!

When you enter your information in to see if you have a blazernet, does it say that you have a blazernet ID or simply a myuab username?

I went in created a BlazerNet ID. It will let you do it as long as you have applied to the school. Problem is, it wont let you log in until you have ben accepted. So I keep getting errors that say "cannot retrieve user file" and "cannot authenticate credentials". Just waiting for the day when it lets me in.

Hehehehe, going crazy now that you mention it! I have noticed that people from other schools have started to receive acceptance letters this week. I haven't seen anyone from UAB say anything yet though. Fingers crossed that we here in the next few weeks!

I'm stressed too! Especially because CAS did an "undelivery" of my app because of something another school I was applying to (not UAB) required that I submitted incorrectly. So they pulled it from UAB and that school. So... That might've screwed me. Ugh.

NursingNerd1 that really sucks. Sorry to hear it. Have you emailed them to make sure they have your application still in consideration? They are pretty good at getting back to you when you have questions.

Re post, but i noticed that in blazernet, a needs cpr hold was added to my acct march 31st...... Dunno if this means anything
