Hey everyone. I have applied to the Acute/Primary Peds NP program at UAB for fall 2016. I am currently driving myself crazy as I wait for my acceptance letter!! I figured I would write this post to see if anyone else wanted to be crazy with me while we wait!

Hi Tinkerbell! I also have orientation June 2-3. Just made reservations at residence inn by UAB. Little pricey but ....

Tinker bell, there are at least two hotels on the campus themselves. I have a friend who went to the summer orientation and she said if you call and tell them you are an incoming student they will give you a pretty decent student discount.

I was accepted into the psych np program too. I live in Hoover, AL.

Residence Inn by Marriott at UAB. These rooms are suites with kitchenettes. They will give you a significant discount when you ask them specifically for the UAB discount. I hope this helps. I will see everyone there on June 2 and 3.

Yay we can be buddies lol .I live in hoover but I got accepted to the family with forensic but I am going to try to switch to psych in the fall lol. I work full time psych but prn sane nurse. I regret not applying to psych

Does anyone else need to change their plan of study? I'm stressing out about it. I already took advanced patho & advanced leadership and hope to start with pharm & evidence based practice .

TinkerBell, I am coming from Florida also. Probably just going to drive up the day before. I would share a room with you, but I still haven't received my letter. I don't know which orientation I will be going to.
