Hello everyone, I am presently an RN with 3 years of ICU experience, 6 years of neurology & neurosurgical progressive care experience, and 4 years as an LPN(Enrolled Nurse). Registration pending in person ID and in the process of visa applications and looking a timeline to Melbourne for July-August of 2015. I am hoping to meet some great nurses in the Melbourne region for advice, moving tips, and all the wise point you all have to offer. Thanks in advance :)

I started with the AHARP over 18 months ago and just getting though the registration process but that was main due to the changes in there nursing and governing regulations. Nonetheless, if you got your RN in the USA you will need to do a full assessment at ANMAC.gov.au and visa qualifications for immigration and for info and the register with https://www.ahpra.gov.au/ for license. If you start with ANMAC you can have the same documents forwarded to AHARP so you don't have to do it twice. Hope this helps!! And thankd really looking forward to it :)

I havent put my application with skillselect yet but AHPRa stated they do not need any more documents from me now that have the inprinciple registration, until I present in person . Just hoping I will be able to go through skill select with this inprinciple registration. Thanks for the information and goodluck we should keep in touch see how each others process is going.
