U of Calgary January 2014 entry Transfer Route

I've talked to a few people at U of C so here's some of the information that I've gathered in case you don't have it already. Offers will begin going out in October (hopefully soon), but depending on where you are in relation to others you may receive an offer as late as December. If your status says "awaiting Faculty decision" it may be because you have been placed on a hold list until all of the other applications have been reviewed. I am still unaware as to exactly how many seats they are offering this year. The GPA's of the last three January intakes were: 2011- 3.00 2012- 2.75 2013- 3.00, so I am assuming it will be relatively similar to these past years. If you have anything to add to this feel free, and please correct me if you believe that any of this information is wrong!!

I think it might still be couple of weeks before they start to send out offers. I called them recently and they said that they still have yet to decide the cutoff GPA. I am desperately waiting..

does that mean if it says that they are "awaiting faculty decision" then you are on a waitlist? or they are just putting your application aside for now?

mine says that, and i don't like the sounds of it haha.

Mine says the same thing at the moment. When I called they said that that meant you had been waitlisted. I spoke to someone a few days ago and she said that their cut off GPA probably won't be decided until December, but that they are admitting at a 3.7 GPA right now. Also I asked how many seats were offered for the transfer route and they said that there are only 30 seats for the Winter 2014 Transfer entry.... I would love to get in but I would hate having to wait until late November or December to find out.
