I applied for the transfer route! I think all transcripts are due in a couple weeks so we still have some time to wait but I am so anxious to know! Keep me updated on yourselves!!

Hello, i went to the nursing admissions office last Friday and they said it was the last day to apply.

I filled out a change of program form and submitted it to the administration office.

I was a kinesiology student also.

Was I too late to apply?

I made sure to tell the admissions office that it was the last day to apply.

My UCALGARY has not changed and there is no pending change of program.

My GPA Prereq was around 3.7, will this be competitive?

How will I check my status?

Do I still need to send a transcript as I am a current University of Calgary Student?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew how many spots total they have for the degree holder route?

Also, this is my second time applying and I'm not too confident about the new GPA calculations. My AP classes are worth 10 credits total (not 6) so will they only use the 6 credits for the prerequisites and dismiss the remaining 4? Or will the 4 go towards the additional 5 HCEs (15 units)? My AP credit is also part of my most recent course work.

I believe looking through these forums these past years they have had 90 spots.

Also it does not matter if your AP credit is part of your recent course work, i believe they count it separately.

I thought all transcripts weren't due until the end of September. I wonder how they have started admitted already. Nonetheless, congratulations to those already admitted! Does anybody know how many seats are available for the transfer program?

Sorry i was mistaken, i applied late. I thought a green circle meant i got in, you need a checkmark.

O well still hopeful with a 3.74 GPA.

I contacted the faculty last week and they were just wrapping up their GPA standards for the Degree Holder route then starting first round offers. I was told 120 spots were available. Historically, they haven't admitted below 3.5 but with stricter entrance requirements this year, that may change. Good luck, all.
