I just have one year of nursing school to go. However, even though I am scared, I love the profession. I over think on the possibilities of making errors as a nurse. Therefore, can anyone please give me a very detailed typical day for them as a nurse and can you give any advice, maybe based on experience to avoid harming patients and most importantly to do very well in the career?

Do not be afraid to ask questions. The only stupid question is one that should have been asked but wasn't.
Also, don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't try to be Super New Grad and in doing so dig yourself into a deep hole. There is no shame in asking for help. There's more shame in not asking and screwing up, especially if it results in harm to a patient.
