Tyler area jobs

Published

I hate asking pay questions as it seems tacky but when I contacted a local HR they said I would have to apply first. Seems odd to me. I have been wanting to move to the Tyler area for a long time and finally am getting close but I really need to know what pay rates they have for RNs. I have 8 years experience in ER, PACU, periop (not OR) and anything to do with ENDO. Knowing this information will determine if it is actually feasible for me to make a move or not. I have been waiting for my youngins to move into their adult roles and the last is saving to start college again! Please any help with choice employers, pay, criticisms, etc. Thanks for any help.

I will also mention that I never mind working nights, weekends or holidays.

Try ETMC Behavioral Health. It's a good place to work. I have been there for 3 years.

I recently heard a new grad night shift getting $25.00/hr

I worked in ICU at Trinity Mother Frances as an RN making 25.00/hour. I had some LVN experience and 1 year RN experience on a medsurg floor. Unfortunately they don't offer a weekend or night diff. But it's a great place to work, a really great group of nurses work on the Neuro ICU. Spine and Joint has a wonderful reputation as well, I know some periop nurses there. Everywhere is pretty comparable as far as salary, certainly low when compared to Dallas, etc. BUT- keep in mind that cost of living is significantly lower as well. I love Tyler, hope you get out there!
