TX CE for LVN

Hi,

This is my first time doing CE courses. My license expires August 2015, can anyone tell me how far in advance can I do my CE classes in order for them to still be accepted when I renew my license? Also are there any sites you recommend I go to for CE courses? Thank you in advance.

Is this your first licensure renewal ever? If this is the first time you will be renewing your LVN license, you are not required to complete CEUs because you presumably passed NCLEX within the past couple of years.

I did licensure by endorsement and took the jurisprudence exam. So I was exempt that first time renewal but his time around I need to do my CE courses.

As long as all your CEUs are done prior to submission of your application for renewal, you will be fine. As far as CEU sites, Medscape.com offers free CEUs.
