My classmate received an email saying she did not meet qualifications and they could not move on with her application.. I haven't received an email but I guess no news is good news at this time

Exactly that's what I say. I haven't heard anything either. So it's good news for now. Did they say why??

Her GPA was lower than the minimum. 
which leads me to ask, which GPA do they go by? The one in webadviser or the one that NursingCAS calculates?

That's interesting, I know the school minimum is 2.0. But the nursing program you must have a 3.0 in the cumulative GPA and a science GPA
