twu vs. uth

Published

I'm stuck in between the two school and am trying to figure out which one I want to apply for. I like UTH because the program is a year and with consecutive semesters. I want to attend twu-dallas campus because ultimately I will be moving to Dallas once I graduate. I've heard some not so good things about UTH but haven't heard very much about TWU. If anyone knows, how unlikely is it for someone who hasn't taken any courses at TWU to get into the Dallas program? Does anyone know how the professors are, staff, etc? I'd love to go to an encouraging school where the staff has your best interest in mind. All replies are appreciated

i'm applying to UTH b/c I live there....what have you heard that was not so good??

Like how the profs give you a hard time and they're not all that supportive and make things harder. I'm looking for a program that the staff and profs are helpful and there to teach not make my life hell. So I'm kind of skeptical about uth. The only thing that leans me more towards uth is its straight through. I want to get in and get out. But idk. I want to make the best decision and not regret going to uth if infact they are hellish and gives the students a hard time.

I read that someones friend went from all A's to B's and C's because the prof's weren't helpful etc. This was stated in a discussion of utmb vs uth. Are you applying for Spring 2012?

Also for anyone who has been accepted to TWU-Dallas, is a prereq gpa of 3.47 ok? I haven't taken the TEAs yet and that 3.47 is without MWS, both govt courses, and math. Do they calculate a science only(ap, chem, nut, Mic) gpa? if so, that gpa is 4.0

no i'm applying for summer 2012

Oh for the accelerated program
