TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

that is great for those of you that have recieved that email! that brings hope !

what are the first letters of y'alls last names? I haven't received one yet so I'm a bit upset.

My last name starts with an S

I don’t think it’s going in alphabetical order because they split the applicants amongst the advisors and process it that way....

so here are a few past stats I thought I would post while we wait (I still haven't received the eligibility email yet...hopefully i receive it soon!)

Spring 2018
Dallas: 49.9 Avg GPA: 3.75 TEAS: 86.9
Houston: 44.1 Avg GPA: 3.72 TEAS: 87.2

Fall 2018
Dallas: 54.4 Avg GPA: 3.78 TEAS: 93.4
Houston: 39.4 Avg GPA: 3.64 TEAS: 85.6
N&W: 48.3 Avg GPA: 3.77 TEAS: 87.6

Spring 2019
Dallas: 51.9 Avg GPA: 3.6 TEAS: 84.6
Houston: 45.3 Avg GPA: 3.52 TEAS: 83.4

Also, for my N&W "people" I do know for Fall 2017 the lowest accepted points were around 44pts for N&W. Hoping this cycle isn't as competitive as last and the points are between 44 and 48 as lowest accepted!

Thanks for the stats! Do you know if the Avg GPA is from the nursing prereques or the overall gpa?

No, my regular google one. I was checking both though.

Also, my last name started with "W". Be honest I was expecting to get email much much later.

its the average of the Nursing GPA not overall ?
