I wanted to start a forum for FALL 2022 NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS NURSING PROGRAM

Just put in all the grades and the scores from your TEAS. Make sure you get the pts for TWU preferences (if you qualify) and it should tell you where you fall.

My stats:

Science GPA: 3.25

TEAS SCORE: 81.3

Excel points: 42.77 or 43.50 (Depending if they round my individual scores on the TEAS)

What about everyone else?

Science GPA: 3.88

TEAS score: 92%

Excel points: 62.37

Does anyone know if we need to complete the background check now or wait until after we hear an admissions decision? Thanks!

According to the application is says do it Asap. That it might take 3-4 weeks for it to complete. I tried to do it earlier but it did not go through.

For science I would use science with Susanna. She has videos on YT. She has system summaries if you don’t want to watch each topic. For math I used Jakara Lewis she has videos too an a book with practice problems. Both ladies are beyond helpful. Good luck everyone!

I sent my application on 01/05 and it was verified 01/17

Hi! Does anyone know more specifics regarding the schedule? I know clinicals are Saturday/Sunday. I wonder which days the classes are.

When I spoke to an advisor he said the classes are Tuesday and Friday (?) night. He also said classes could start at 5 or 6 but to plan to be there until 9pm. Also, clinicals would be from 7-3pm, so not too bad. Good news is he said Sunday clinicals are every other week. So fingers crossed that’s all program..

I missed the deadline but I passed my TEAS. I am applying to UT TYLER, am so glad l did because their program is just 4 semesters starting this Summer.

No not yet, they mentioned in the Zoom meeting last week they wouldn't be going out until March and acceptance/denials in April.
