TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

my score was a 42 ! I seriously did not think I'd get in. Just been processing it ?

Does anyone know how to exactly accept the offer letter? My email said to accept it in the Welcome Packet attached, but there were no attachments to my email.

It’s a link towards the bottom, it’s a pdf and in the pdf there’s a checklist with the link to accept/decline

Scroll down on that email, there is a link, click on it, it takes you to where you will accept it and so on...

Thank you everyone. I contacted advisement and they accidentally did not attach the Welcome Packet, but received it now!

Hey! Congrats to everyone that got in! I am applying to the N&W 2022 and I wondered if anyone could shoot me their schedules for the semester. I have to retake Micro lec. this fall and want to get an idea of what the first semester looks like. Thanks in advance and good luck everyone!

Hi!

Currently our fall schedule looks like this.

Tuesday (pharmacology) 5:30-8:30pm 

Thursday (assessment lecture) 5:30-8:30pm

Saturday: assigned morning (starts at 8am) or afternoon assessment lab (starts at 12:30) which are usually four hours long

Thanks so much! One other questions I noticed there was no patho and no Sunday classes/clinicals. Did you take patho before the fall? Oh and what do you mean "assigned morning?

Thanks again!

Patho can be taken during the Summer to lessen the coursework load but you can also take it in the fall as well. And “assigned” means that we are placed in clinical/lab groups that are either in the morning or afternoon.
