I am starting this thread... a year early. That is how much I want to be accepted into the Fall 2013 BSN program at TWU in Dallas. I am taking my TEAS on August 30 so that if I have to, I can take it again the following application period (after September 1). I have finished my prerequisites (last week of Summer AP2 right now, hurray).
I hope other people see this forum so that we can all talk and encourage each other about getting into the program (and be stressed out together)! Seriously hoping that this next year flies by! I Look forward to get to know other hopefuls!
Certainly she made a 70.6 on teas and 3.8 without bump but she did get the bump! My Gpa isn't as high as hers lol! Mines around a 3.6 and I made a 69.7 on teas!! How did you do on teas and how's your Gpa? I'm just as nervous and Anxious as you are!! We took path at twu in Denton ![/quote']
I have a 3.69 and made a 70.something on teas I am so nervous because there are so many smart people and so little spots.
I'm getting so impatient! I'm not sure if I posted my stats on this thread but I have a 3.7 gpa (4.1 with the bump), 78% on the TEAS and 3/4 first attempt A's in A&P I, Micro, and Stats. I applied to the Houston campus and I'm currently taking patho online. Our thread is dead compared to the previous ones!! If you're watching join us.
Good Morning Everyone!..So after being a stalker for a while I finally decided to join. I am applying to the Dallas Campus. My stats are 3.72 GPA, 84% on the TEAS V and 3/4 first attempts. I have no bump and no previous degree. I am not sure what to think about that. The post for Spring 2013 seemed pretty intense and very competitive! However the Fall 2012 thread gave me some hope. We will see!
Yea, if this thread is any indication of the amount of applicants, it is DEFINITELY less than previous years....unless there are just more stalkers and less talkers, haha, j/k.
But my stats are 91.3% on TEAS, 4.0 GPA, 4/4 first attempt A's and previous bachelor's degree. Feels like I have been waiting FOREVERRRRR! I am ready for the next step to begin, although I know at orientation it is an overwhelming whirlwind of information and things to buy and things to do. Hopefully only 3 weeks left of waiting or so. But I hope more people start popping up on this thread so we can get some good discussion going
I was told last semster there were around 800 QUALIFIED applicants and this semester there are around 700 QUALIFIED applicants. I am hoping I get in. I did not get in last semester.

Yes those are great stats! You are going to get in!! I'm a bit worried because I didn't score to high on the teas :/ I got a 69.7% but my twin made 70% and she got in this past fall!
