Hi! does anyone know when to turn in the background check?

I think when we receive an accepted email (?)

Right, LOL. I just turned in my application, the due date for it is August 15th. I also did the background check through castlebranch and it was $40, so fyi! I think the immunization records are after we get accepted.

Also, has anyone taken pathophysiology?

Nope. I plan to take it in the 1st sem it I get accepted LOL

LOL I just submitted it after seeing your comment. Thanks sm!! But to double-check, we need to apply for Applytx --> Nursingcas: TEAS + Background check before the application deadline, correct?

yeah that's everything, just don't forget to send your transcripts to both TWU and Nursingcas if you haven't already

Yeah, I just reorder the transcript after I checked my TWU account and saw that the transcript I used to order expired LOL. For NursingCAS, I did send my transcript and submitted it months ago. Thanks, sm for reminding me to order a Background check tho. Hope my background check will be completed ASAP so it won't cause any delays or troubles for my application.

Specializes in pre-nursing.

does anybody know which campus is more competitive?

I have a 3.8 GPA and a 3.56 Science GPA with healthcare experience at a hospital and private practice. However my TEAS score was a 78. I am just wondering what my chances are of being considered and if I should apply to the Houston location

I believe the Dallas campus is more competitive, but your stats are pretty good for both in my opinion. Maybe retake the TEAS for a higher score if possible but your GPA will weigh it out if not.

I think it means they are under review to see if they can maintain their nursing program, it could also just mean that they are getting a higher status IDK tbh. Did you get that from your student email??
