Yesterday was quieter.  Did some birdwatching then came home and did quite a bit of cooking.  Exercised and then decided to take a long drive south, since I haven't been down that way in years.  Would  have preferred to ride my bike but it was too hot.  

Was feeling a tad down yesterday and today, will see if it lasts.  Did go off diet again yesterday, so trying a brief fast today to see if I can get back on track

Was also emailing with my cousin yesterday, some additional details about next week's trip

Nothing unusual going on today, hoping work  will  be fairly quiet

Going to be pretty hot again, in the low 90s, although should be the last hot day for a while

G'day.

Joe, I go off my eating plan all the time.  Hope you feel less down today.

Almost afternoon on this side of the coast.  I cleaned the bathrooms and did some laundry.  About to head out to grocery shop at two stores.  Had trouble sleeping last night and BP was above 140 this morning.

Nannie's sleeping late again. I'll have to go wake her up in a minute and get her out to her recliner. 

Have to do some laundry and maybe run out for a few items from the grocery store. Tomorrow I'll have to get Nannie up early, her toenail appt is at 10:45 AM.

S'gonna be a hot one today....96 degrees.

One of the does came up to check the 'snack bar' so I put some food out; don't know when she will be back with the others, but it will be there waiting for them....well, whatever the blue-jays leave behind, because they are bad at helping themselves to the corn!

Ballgame is on at 7:20. The Braves are playing the Cardinals.

It's looking like FOUR loads of laundry now! Nannie's bed was soaked through to the mattress; she had gotten up at some point last night and took her pull-ups and pads off, rolled them up and set them in two different places (none of which were a wastebasket.) Then she put her pj bottoms back on, with no pads, which allowed her leaking pee to soak a spot as big as a large pizza! Stripped the bed and will be putting fresh sheets on after the ceiling fan has a chance to dry the mattress a little.

 Then hubby started to go upstairs to the bathroom, but he got short of breath and had to sit down in the kitchen, which is when his bladder let go. I had to go upstairs and get him a washcloth and towel, fresh underwear and shorts. I told him he may have to start wearing his "man pads" if this becomes a frequent event. I told him that Thursday morning we are going to put him on the shower chair in the tub and scrape him down. He has more dried skin on his sheets than he has on his body. Well, not really, but I'm not changing his sheets until he's been showered.

 I actually feel okay, not resentful. Remember the old saying about how impossible it is to try to herd a bunch of cats? HAH!  // Anyway, hubby did do the dishes last night, so that's something!

At least we don't have a dog peeing on the carpet!
