Tweety hope your next shift is less busy

Stars glad the financial stuff has been sorted out, at least for now

NJ22 hope you don't end up needing a crown

I was busy pretty much all day at work, finishing up the 2 new cases I got and helping cover for the person who was out.  Was good about being mindful and not getting too stressed.  Did get another new case before the end of the day but it seems pretty straightforward, got all the research and prep done so I just need to make the calls today

Had time during lunch to get the laundry done.  After work went grocery shopping as today it'll storm and I'm busy on Wed, my usual grocery day.  Was oddly tired last night, not sure why, unless it was work.  Had some unusually vivid dreams last night

Today nothing really planned, might do a coffeecake recipe if I have time today, if not I'll do it later in the week.  Have to get back into exercising, stopped doing that when I got sick.

Will be another warmer day in the low 90s, with storms both this morning and this evening

Good morning!

Joe hope you have a good day.

Hope Dianah is having a good time.

I have some laundry in the dryer from yesterday to fold and I cleaned the bathrooms.  Otherwise not much happened yesterday.  Probably not much will happen today.  LOL

Stars, it's a sad state of affairs here in America where someone is suffering and unable to get the treatment they need because they can't afford it.

J22, I hear you about dental insurance.  Back in January when I chipped my tooth and needed a root canal and crown, I paid a lot out of pocket with my insurance and used it up.  Now anything I get done will be 100% paid by me even thought I have insurance.  The yearly benefit is only $1500.  Plus even when I get a cleaning there's a co-pay. Bleh.....

Hello~

Today we will have 95 degrees which they promise will feel like 101 degrees. And on Thursday we are supposed to get to 100 degrees. No rain predicted for today;  I think tomorrow's rain forecast said it was something ridiculous like 2% chance. HAH! What the heck does 2% chance of rain even MEAN?? One or two drops somewhere, maybe? Ppfftt.

Yes, today's itinerary is LAUNDRY! Whot a surrrrprize! Nannie made her bed by criss-crossing her sheets and blankets (ie one the right way, length-wise, and the next one on sideways.) Anyway, she then laid on top of it in two different places, so the sheets and blankets have TWO side-by-side 12-14" diameter urine spots soaked through. She apparently removed the chux pad that was protecting the mattress under her fitted sheet, so after the ceiling fan dries most of it, I will have to flip the mattress. She even wet on the pillow that elevates her left hand with cast; not sure how the cast didn't get wet, too, but good thing it didn't! Anyway, all else must go into the laundry!

Last night I was about to turn the TV off when we were watching the news, because poor Nannie thought the rain and flooding and tornado activities were something we had to worry about. I explained several times that all the bad weather was happening very West and North of us. She also wondered aloud if we had to worry about the latest shootings. No, Nannie, it's not happening here. If she keeps freaking out and worrying, I may have to eliminate listening to the news! But I will want to listen to the.... no, I mean "THE" debate, and she better hush her puppies and not talk over it or ask questions while they are talking!

Guess I should shuffle through my papers and bills and see what's what, coming up, so I don't immediately mess up what has been straightened out! I believe Nannie will be sleeping this afternoon (*fingers crossed*) 'cause I can concentrate better when she is conked out.

SiL sneaked in this AM (she told me last night she would) and placed our suppers in the fridge...So far as I can tell, there is potato salad and cut up chunks of cantaloupe, but I haven't investigated the other two containers. I believe she had said something about BBQ chicken. No supper to cook and no dishes to do! I washed up the sink full last night when one of the House Hunters shows was a repeat of what we saw two nights ago. She doesn't remember seeing it, so she watched it again while I cleaned up the kitchen.

I feel like grazing / noshing something, so I'm going to go up to the kitchen to see what I can find for a good nibble.....

Stay well, stay safe! There was a DJ up in Asheville who used to say that and add, "And don't lose your credit cards." Good advice!
