Trying To Enter a college with our wait list in NJ

Published

hello

i am currently enrolled in Brookdale community college in Lincroft NJ. I am taking pre-reqs right now but also taking a remedial class because i did not do that well on the college entrance test. my problem is that in order to take the NET i need to complete my basic skills requirements in math 015 first which hopeful i will complete in december. i then will need to take the algebra part over, if i fail that i need to take the next class in the remedial which is math 021. after that i can set up to take the NET. the college is telling me it is a 2 year maybe longer wait to enter the program. does anyone know of another college that might have a list a little shorter.

Don't think you are going to find any luck there. Thats pretty much the story everywhere....

It is a 2 year (approx) wait after the NET. But, stick to it! You should get all of your classes out of the way before you start the program if you can. So, get these classes done, then onto the science classes (a&p, micro) Do you still have to take all of the other classes or just those math classes?

There are A LOT of things to do in that 2 year wait, and it will fly by.

Good luck!
