I live in Indiana, and we're covered in snow. I'm in my third week of classes and two of them I've only been to once due to cancellation. You would think since I have been stuck in the house for so many days, I would have this online Nursing Informatics class under control. I DONT!!! I cannot find the motivation to become interested in it! What's wrong? I loved my online classes last semester, but I just can not seem to get into it this time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in Alabama and my city shut down on Tuesday. We ended up with snow that in a matter of a few hours turned to ice. I've been home for a few days and haven't done too much studying. It's hard to find the motivation when you have friends stranded in their cars on the interstate... Maybe tomorrow I'll try again. Good luck to you too!

I'm also in the Midwest and for the past month it's either freezing cold or it's snowing. It snowed today and more snow coming Sat. I too find it difficult to stay motivated in this weather. What works for me, if putting on comfy pajamas, making some hot tea, turning on lots of lights (cause if it's dim or dark, it makes me want to lay down or sleep) and make myself get on my laptop or reading my nursing text books. Usually after about 20 min I have enough energy to keep going for hours. Good luck! :)
