I among so MANY of you are struggling to find a job. I live in NJ and graduated from a LPN program, i passed my state boards, i have applied to well over 20 jobs whether is was me going to the actual facility or applying on thier websites. Of the three interviews i was able to get i got rejected for all of them. I know all about the phone calls to follow up and never getting a hold of someone,or filling out the application in person and no one is ever available to talk too. Everyone wants experience, but how do you get experience when no one will hire you? I know so many of you feel the same as i do, depressed and miserable among many other emotions. Im trying to keep my head up and keep my hopes high but it is very difficult. We can't relocate because of my husband's career which thank you god has kept us above water...well somewhat. Anyway i just wanted to let you all know i feel your pain! I hope that we all can get through this struggle, I have been extremely flexible with my applications i will work whatever shift, whatever days, whatever holidays...but as we all know that isnt making much of a difference right now. Keep praying and have faith!

Just know that you are not alone. This statement is probably not helpful but it is the truth. I am a new RN grad with an associates and I've been searching for two months and nothing!! It is very depressing and you almost feel like a failure. But it has to get better and we have to find jobs!!! I will get my fingers crossed for all new nursing grads!!!

You are not alone. Many hospital website will post jobs that says they will consider new grads. However, when you call them, either recruiter will not call you back or they will say they already hired someone who is more QUALIFIED. I think they only post it only for formality sake. In reality, they already have someone in-line for the job. Getting to know someone inside helps a lot. God help us.
