Im thinking about taking CNA and trying to get 1000 hours so i can get more points towards a nursing program. Does anyone know what specifically counts as "direct human patient care?" Is caregiving with your CNA degree count as direct human patient care count? or do i have to get my 1000 hours in a hospital setting? I cared for a man who was bed ridden but this was before, without a CNA license. Would this type of work count?

Ascriteria likely varies from program to program, your best course would be to direct this question to the program in question.
Best wishes.
True. Thanks, i have made an appointment with a counselor at GWC for Wednesday, lets see what they say.
