Im wondering what programs are exactly looking for. I went to a 4 year college and went undecided for most of my time there. I didn't take college seriously for the time i was there and got a 2.09 gpa. I left that school and went to a community college and am doing way better at a 3.0 gpa. i have already taken a&P 1 and 2, principles of inorganic chem, lifespan and nutrition. i just want to know will the nursing programs look at my old transcript vs my new one and how is it going to hurt my chances on getting in

Hi,
Let's see, did you ever get a bachelor's degree? If so, you are eligible to apply for an accelerated BSN! If you did not, not a problem either. In either case, the GPA from before will most likely be looked at. However, many schools may only look at your pre-req GPA. Call up the schools you want to apply to and ask them about the specifics.
