trouble with GA APN licensure

I am having a heck of a time with the GA BON. I have an active GA RN license. Sent my APN app. 2 wks ago but they still hadn't received it (??). Apparently I sent it to the PO box address when they have changed to accept all applications at their physical address (the website STILL says to send apps to the PO box!). They updated the form the week after I printed it. The woman I spoke to at the BON says they get mail forwarded from the PO Box every 3 weeks - add to that 3 wks to review it and I can't believe how long this is going to take. Nothing else she can do. The post office said the same.

I have never been so frustrated by bureaucracy in my life. I would simply re-send but it took soooo long to get all the special pieces of paper from all the different places. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm not sure what else I can try but I'm open to suggestions.

If anyone out there has done this, how long did it take for you to get licensed after they received your app? I have a job lined up and am dreading telling the nice people trying to hire me about this latest delay.
