Hi friends! So, I interviewed for a GS RN position at Tripler about 2-3 mos ago. I thought the interview went well and received a positive email from the hiring manager afterwards, implying an offer would be forthcoming. However, I still haven't received a job offer. Does it take a really long time to receive an offer as a civilian or should I just assume I didn't get the position?
It can take a while, especially if there are multiple candidates. Reaching out to the HR contacts you have is not a bad idea, though. It took me a few months to flip to the GS side after leaving active duty, but that was paperwork/processing and not necessarily the job offer itself.
