Has anyone out there worked at this hospital? What can you tell me about the working conditions and the staff? What have you heard about the O.R. environment there and the staff contentment there? Anything that you can tell me about this hospital would be of great help!

Thank you for your response! I have been hearing "stuff" about Trinity and I decided to go along with a different offer. I am sure it was the best decision!

I work in the blood bank at Medical Center of Lewisville down the street from Trinity. We seem to have many nurses at Lewisville that left Trinity (but that could be true of any competing hospitals in the same time) - most of them that I have talked to state that morale is low at Trinity and the felt overworked.

I cannot personally say anything about the hospital as I don't have 1st hand experience. HOWEVER, I can recommend Lewisville - have been there over 10 years. Administration is very fair; salary is competitive; good benefits (HCA company). We are starting open heart/cath lab in Feb 05.

please refrain from posting a person's name, making comments about teachers who are easily identifiable by location, etc., or putting one's email address within the post. this is a violation of privacy and also a violation of the terms of service which you agreed upon when you signed up to join allnurses. also, there are personal safety issues involved. this is the most widely read nursing website in the world, with literally hundreds of people visiting the site daily. all of the posts here are accessible by google and will eventually be able to be found via search engine. do you really want someone being able to access your personal email or a person's name via a google search engine?
