I am interested in Trinity's travel company. Anyone has experience w/ this company? According to Highway Hypodermics they have top pay and are ranked #7 out of the 10 best travel companies. Any responses would be helpful since this would be my first time traveling.

I'm with Trinity Healthcare Staffing Group, and absolutely love them. They are a smaller company with great personal benefits in that you are treated as one of the TEAM not just "another nurse." I have been with them for a year now, and don't plan on using anyone else, unless there is somewhere that I really want to go that they don't offer, but so far, they have found me an assignment where I want to be. Sorry that I didn't find your post until just now. My internet service has been down for the most part of the last month.
Hello thanks for the response. Are you a Med/Surg RN ? I really like the company thus far. My recruiter is great. Can you give me some details about the company.
How is the housing?
Travel reimbursement?
do they tailor packages for each individal (ie pets, rental cars, washer and dryer)?
Do they have an ample amount of assignments?
How are the benefits...do they start day one?
Is the 401K matched dollar for dollar?
Are you covered in between assignments?
Where have you traveled to?
I know I have a lot of questions but you are the only one who has responded about trinity. Please bare with me...thanks in advance.
Are you a Med/Surg RN ?I do med/surg, telemetry, rehab, skilled, psych, ER, step-down ICU, and rural ICU. So far with Trinity, I have done a rehab and telemetry assignment.
I really like the company thus far.
The housing is your average travel nursing housing. A moderately priced apartment in a gated community. They use alot of Equity Apartments, a nation wide company.
Your travel reimbursement is scheduled throughout the 13 weeks, but you get more reimbursement that all the other companies that I have worked for. They give you what is called an "auto" per diem hourly rate.
Yes, you can pretty much have what you want as long as it's reasonable and available. You definitely have a lot more freedom with this company than with any other company that I have been with.
Medical, dental, vision, and disability starts after 30 days, but you fill out your paperwork the first day so that there is no delay in getting coverage.
Don't remember about that one. It starts after one year with the company. As me in a month :)
Yes, as long as you don't let more than a month lapse between assignments.
With them, I have traveled to Mason City, IA, and Plantation, FL. With another companies, I have traveled to Phoenix, Central California, Lake Havasu City, AZ, Oklahoma City, OK, and Tupelo, MS.
Feel free to ask more questions if needed!
OOps. forgot a question. So far they have had an assignment where I want to go!!!
