Trident Technical College Merit Placement.

Hello All,

I got accepted into TTC Fall 2013 nursing program. I am going to apply for the merit placement for Spring 2013 and I just wanted to know if anyone has ever applied for it, and how many points they had to get in. And if anyone knows about how many people they accept for the merit. Also has anyone just had them move there start date early without doing anything, a girl I was in class with said that they sent her a letter to move her date up. Thanks

Ok well at least you got to move up anyways which is awesome for you. How do you like the program so far. I'm so ready to start

It's hard and time consuming too me. It's a lot of work. I enjoy learning the skills though. Ready to be an RN already.

I bet I have a friend who started this spring. She said its a lot of studying but she's still excited about it. They posted the dates for merit placement to turn in between July 22- 26/29 I don't remember the final date but my advisor said its on a first come first serve basis so I'm turning it in at 8am on the 22nd super excited

@mskrisRN2B, are you trying to get in for spring 2014 or this fall?

So to update you guys I got in using merit placement and I start in the spring of 2014. Getting my stuff together for this program on top of the 2 fast forward classes and the 1 full semester class and a full time job is crazy but I am so excited for next spring I can't wait

Did merit placement and got accepted to the traditional ASN program! Did anyone else get accepted for fall 2014?

@MsKris_CarolinaGirl how is the nursing program going so far? What are some of your studying habits? I start Fall 2014 which is in about 3 weeks, so I'm nervous and I don't know what to expect.
