Has anyone gone to an online school while traveling. I recently stopped traveling to go to school and I'm starting to think that was a mistake. I have been in one place now for 4 months and I'm feeling like I should be moving on. LOL. Anyway if anyone has done this any tips would be great. Such as what schools you used, and since I plan on going to school for CRNA how do those schools look at online degrees.

Hi,
I'm currently working on my RN to BSN online while traveling. Works great for me, but I do have to make sure I only accept 3/12's so there is plenty of time for studying.
I'm not sure CRNA is available as an online option. It seems to me it would be far too intense, and the clinical aspect would be difficult to arrange at best. There are however more and more MSN programs coming available online.
Good luck!
Not looking for a CRNA online class. I was wondering what CRNA programs think of online BSN degrees when they are evaluating who to accept.

I was on an assigment for my first semester at school and didn't have a problem with it. For me, in fact, it was easier because I didn't have family needing my attention like they do when I'm at home.
My only thing is, my program is an online program but they require a few clinicals (shadowing a manager, doing a home family assessment and the like). I ended up taking an assigment near home and am going to stay here until I get this semester underway and see what it's like.
As for the CRNA question....this question has been answered severed times in the CRNA forum on this site, so might look there. The simple answer is yes, from what I understand, but like everyone else says.....check with the program you want to attend. Most of them will likely say they don't care as long as you have all the necessary admit stuff: good GRE scores, high GPA, ICU experience, etc., etc.
